If you feel like just sitting back and relaxing quietly in your pool (if you are not making waves), simply set the system into sleep mode and you can temporarily remove the pool unit out of your pool to avoid unwanted automatic reactivation. If someone who does not know how to put the pool alarm in sleep mode attempts to remove the alarm, it will sound an alarm.
The swimming pool protector alarm is designed to detect intrusions similar to a one year old child weighing 18 pounds and up and once installed in the pool, cannot be de-activated; it is always in the alarm ready mode.
